Dr. Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) of Bones hypnotizes Walter (George Stults) on the second episode of The Finder, airing January 19, 2021, just after Bones returns from hiatus to continue Season 7.
According to TVLine, Bones star David Boreanaz will direct an episode of spin-off series The Finder. The episode will feature a rare guest appearance by rap mogul 50 Cent who will enlist Walter (Geoff Stutts) to find the lost tracks from a deceased rappers unfinished album.
Bones star David Boreanaz will spend a portion of his downtime during the Bones hiatus directing episode #8 of The Finder. David is no stranger to directing. He began with an episode of Angel in 2004 and has directed 4 episodes of Bones including 2 in Season 6 – Episode 11, “The Bullet in the Brain” and Episode 16, “The Blackout in the Blizzard.”
Fox is recasting the lead female role on The Finder and Saffron Burrows will be leaving the show.

“The Finder,” a spin-off of Fox’s hit drama Bones, is based on Richard Greener’s “The Locator” book series. The series stars Geoff Stults and Michael Clarke Duncan and is from “Bones” creator Hart Hanson.
