It may have taken their characters forever to actually get together on Bones, but co-stars Emily Deschanel (Brennan) and David Boreanaz (Booth) have had no trouble showing their affection for one another on the red carpet over the years. But the payoff is one big bombshell in the show’s sixth season finale when Bones tells Booth that she’s pregnant. “You’re the father,” she says, as he breaks into a huge smile. Producers insist a baby was always part of the plan, but we’re pretty sure Emily Deschanel’s pregnancy had something to do with it too.

Booth and Brennan finally got together and they got pregnant! Fans around the world squealed with delight over their favorite couple finally becoming an actual couple, and best of all, the show didn’t lose its mojo like so many others have when the unrequited love becomes requited.
