Fox Uncovers Another Season Of Bones

BONES: Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel)David Boreanaz broke the new on Twitter Monday night saying, “Season 7 is Go for Bones.” Today, Fox announces it’s renewal of the hit series for a seventh season.

“BONES is creatively fresh, it’s a rock-solid player every time it airs and this season it has helped us win on Thursday nights for the first time in our history,” said Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “Hart Hanson and the fantastic cast and crew, as well as the millions of loyal BONES fans, make this show really special, and I’m excited to have it on our air for another stellar season.”

David Boreanaz Always Expects The Unexpected On ‘Bones’

Bones,

Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) research the mythical ChupacabraYes, the Jeffersonian team does solve a case each week on Bones, but at its heart, the show is about the relationships between the cast members. Of course, much of the show revolves around Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), who have run the gamut of emotions, yet maintained a high level of sexual tension throughout the show’s six seasons.

In the second part of our two-part interview with BONES executive producer/creator Hart Hanson, who developed the series based on the mystery novels written by real-life forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, he talks about actors who direct, why he’s unlikely to use misleading semantics again and whether he has plans for a final episode. Fellow BONES executive producer Barry Josephson provides a story about Reichs’ visit to the set during the filming of the pilot episode.
