This season, Bones took the throne by becoming longest airing drama on FOX. There has been speculation that, after 10 years, Emily Deschanel or David Boreanaz may be ready to move on. However, with contract deals completed for some major cast members, Bones will return for Season 11.
After his many years behind the scenes, showrunner Stephen Nathan is taking a break with hopes of rejoining the series later in the season. Executive producer Jonathan Collier and co-executive producer Michael Peterson, who have been with the show since 2011, will step in to lead the show through Season 11.
