Stephen Fry, who portrays forensic psychologist Dr. Gordon Wyatt on Bones, will once again host the British Academy and Film Awards (BAFTA) on Sunday, February 16, 2014. In 2013, Fry was responsible for leading the awards show to its highest ratings since 2004. When he takes the stage at the Royal Opera House in Covert Garden, the U.K. writer, comedian, actor, renaissance man will be making his ninth hosting appearance for the U.K.’s most prestigious film awards. BAFTA nominations will be unveiled on January 8, 2014.
As a lover of film, Stephen Fry made it known he is honored to be offered another chance to host the awards even though he feels each appearance increases the odds something horribly embarrasing will happen.
