The pregnancy of Bones star Emily Deschanel is expected to sideline her for as many as 6-7 episodes from Bones’ upcoming seventh season. Fox, producing studio 20th TV and Bones creator Hart Hanson are discussing the use of Finder-flavored episodes as a filler during Deschanel’s maternity leave.

This “Legally Blonde”-esque dramedy is actually a remake of a German drama about a young hairdresser who finally obtains her degree from law school to only be turned away from law firms. So what’s a girl to do? Open her own practice… at a mall kiosk. The drama is being adapted for American television by Jennie Snyder Urman, who is best known for her work on The CW’s 90210. The cast features Amanda Walsh as the title character and George Dzundza as Danni’s father “Gus.” Other cast members include Neal Bledsoe, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Carla Gallo.
